Time Management Schedule - Is Managing Your Time Being Anal?

Having a time management schedule can relieve both stress in your life as well as keep your morale at acceptable levels. In this article, we'll suggest ways to become your effective in managing your time for a more productive personal and work life.

- Make a list of your tasks for the following day the night before. This shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

- When you have your list, prioritize them into an order of importance. Your most pending tasks should be first in the order while your less important ones towards the bottom.

- Delegate responsibilities if you can. This is good advice for both personal and work affairs. Many people take it upon themselves to do everything on their own which can only increase the stress levels which in turn affects your mood which in turn again, affects relationships with those around you.

- At all costs, learn to say no to certain requests. One of the biggest killers of an effective time management schedule is over-booking yourself or over-lapping certain tasks. If you have something pending and needs to be cleared then make it known to anyone who requests a favor that you are committed until such and such a time and will look at it later in the day or the next day.

Don't worry about "being anal" or what others may think. In the end, you'll have the last laugh because you'll accomplish things in a much more effective way.
